I design and build small-business websites: a marketing site, or a storefront, on hosting you own. You get the site, the domain and the account, and after sign-off it is yours to change.

A small site has one job: to say who you are, show what you do, and be there when someone looks.

The pages
A landing page, three or four detail pages, and a contact page. The wording is yours if you have it and mine if you do not. You supply the photographs and your logo; if you do not have a logo, one can be designed at a cost, scoped separately.

The build, then two rounds of edits
A new site goes from the first call to launch in two weeks, once I have your words, your images and access to the domain. A refresh of an existing site takes three. Two rounds of edits are included, in the two weeks after the build is complete.

The handover
A marketing site runs on your own Cloudflare account; a store runs on your own Shopify plan. The domain and the accounts are yours at the end. After sign-off the site is yours to change. Anything you would rather I changed is scoped separately, like any other work.
Your domain moves to Cloudflare, and every record goes with it.
Every build includes moving your domain's DNS to Cloudflare. A marketing site is served from there; a Shopify store stays on Shopify, and the domain points at it. Every existing record moves with it, email included, and is checked before the switch, so your mail keeps arriving.
For a marketing site, Cloudflare's free plan covers the hosting, so it costs you nothing. If your site needs more, such as file storage (R2) or another paid Cloudflare service, that is called out in the written scope and is not inside the published price. A Shopify store runs on your own Shopify plan, billed by Shopify.
The domain stays in your name. If you do not have one yet, I can buy it on your behalf and bill it back, registered to you.

The cost, agreed before anything starts.
It starts with a free thirty-minute call, then a first-pass review and a written scope within two days of the call, at no cost. The scope tells you which of these your site is.
A new site built from scratch, a landing page, three or four detail pages, and a contact page, with two rounds of edits, is $500.
A refresh of an existing site, with two rounds of edits, starts at $750.
A refresh starts at a figure rather than settling on one because the work depends on what is already there.
A storefront built entirely within Shopify, with two rounds of edits, starts at $750.
Anything that connects the store to something outside it is scoped separately, and a storefront's timeline is set in the written scope. Anything beyond a site like the one described above, an integration for example, further rounds of edits, a storefront on anything other than Shopify, a logo, and any paid Cloudflare service are scoped and quoted in writing before anything starts.
